Sequence of Operation, Rescue Winch -
FREESPOOL
The operator depresses the FREESPOOL switch. Pilot
control pressure communicates to the FREESPOOL
shifter fork, allowing the dental clutch to disengage the
drum pinion gear from the intermediate gear. The gear
train is disengaged from the drum gear so wire rope can
be pulled from the drum by hand.
