Troubleshooting
Continued from previous page
Aer the ignitor preheats (approximately 21 seconds), does
the gas valve open? A pressure drop on the incoming side of
the valve would indicate the gas valve opening. Gas supply
pressure must be between 5.5" and 14" wc on natural gas
and 9" and 14" wc on propane systems.
No
If the gas valve does not open this could be an ignition
module issue or gas valve. Replace the ignition module if the
problem continues replace the gas valve. NOTE: If the gas
valves opens but the pressure drops below 5.5” wc natural gas
or 9” wc propane this is a supply gas issue.
