12. ADJUSTING TIP EJECTOR HEIGHT
A height of the tip ejector can be adjusted so that it can match the conditions of how the
Tip used was connected. Use a small minus screwdriver. By tuming the adjustment
screw in a counter-clockwise direction, the tip ejectors position is lowered so that the tip
can be removed. For the MPB, remove the lower part to adjust the screw.
13. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
13-1 Replacing the lower part
If the lower part is contaminated or damaged it can be replaced.
- Removing/reattaching the lower part -
Hold the base of the pipette tightly and twist the connection nut to the left to loosen.
Once the connection nut is removed the lower part can be removed by pulling.
The piston and piston rod are connected by magnet.
The lower part can be autoclaved. Refer to “13-4 Autoclave”
