KRYPTON PRO 302A 8. Stem Assembly
Stem Assembly - Step #3
1. Install spacers, if required (refer the Stack
Height Adjustment instructions, p.8).
2. Thread the cable / hoses into the 1st Spacer
and slide the 1st Spacer onto the steerer tube.
3. Install the Stem Carbon Body onto the steerer
tube. Apply grease on the M5x20 screws (7.10)
and slightly tighten just to hold the stem in
place, 1 cm above the 1st spacer.
4. Install the HS expander plug into the steerer
tube,puttingcabonberassemblypasteonthe
outside surface of the expander plug. Torque at
10Nm.
5. Install the chosen Top Cap (refer to p.9).
6. Carefully position the brake hoses on each
side and the Di2 cable in the middle of the
stem / 1st spacer recesses and slowly screw the
Top Cap screw. Torque at 3Nm.
7. Align the Stem and tighten the M5x20
screws. Torque at 5Nm.
IMPORTANT: In all con guration, it is critical
to assemble the headset expander plug (b.) at
the same height as the Stem’s steerer clamp.
