Overview
The System Management Module 2 (SMM-2) is the next generation CHP Management Module
specifically designed to address the needs of all CHP modules. It manages CHP modules,
power supplies, and fans within a single rack and up to nine daisy-chained shelves. The
management Ethernet interface in the back of the chassis acts as a single entry point for
management of all CHP Max modules.
The SMM-2 provides following management interfaces:
■ SNMP (v1/v2c)
■ Ethernet Over USB
■ Serial Over USB
■ Command Line Interface (CLI) via Telnet
■ Remote Syslog
