1-6) Replacement of Carbon Brush
(1)
Drain oil.
(2) Remove the Die-Head and lay down the machine.
(3) Unscrew the Under Cover mounting bolts and remove the Under Cover from the machine.（fig45）
(4) Turn the cap inside with a flat screwdriver and take out the Carbon Brush. （fig46,47）
(5) Insert a new Carbon Brush. Do not stain the Carbon Brush with oil on fingers, etc.
(6)
Install the cap and install the Under Cover with the removed bolts.

• Disconnect the Power Plug to avoid electric shock.
• Keep the new carbon brush free from oil, dirt, chips, etc. Avoid the stain of
gloves from attaching to the Carbon Brush.
• A replacement opening is provided on the bottom of this machine.
Erect the machine using utmost care not to fall.
