Step 5 Adjust the straps of the laptop carrier for comfort and utility.
Step 6 Hold onto the instrument controller at all times. Set instrument controller on
the laptop carrier temporarily and observe how close to your body it can be
placed on the laptop carrier while still allowing comfortable access to the
keyboard. Remember this placement and set the instrument controller on a
table.
Step 7 Remove the laptop carrier from the Ergonomic Pro-Pack.
Step 8 Locate the two pairs of velcro strips (mating hook side and mesh side)
supplied with the laptop carrier.
Step 9 Leave the hook and mesh velcro strips mated.
Step 10 Remove the backing from the adhesive on the hook side of one strip and place
this adhesive side down onto the laptop carrier an inch or so away from the
curve.
Note: Do not place velcro over the battery compartment on the instrument
controller. This will interfere with battery replacement!
Step 11 Press down firmly on the velcro and smooth out so that the adhesive can stick
to the laptop carrier.
Step 12 Repeat Step 9 through Step 11 with the other velcro strip but place it a couple
of inches or so away from the other strip. This is shown in Figure
2-23.
