A.4 Does Not Connect to the Access Point
• Refer to section A.1, Common Communication Fixes.
• Check to make sure the wireless interface on the spectrometer is not set to
ad hoc.
• Check to make sure the SSID of the spectrometer is the same as the
access point.
• If you are using encryption, then make sure you are using the same WEP
key in the spectrometer as the access point.
• Move the access point, spectrometer, and instrument controller
(computer) to the same room to test the connection.
