3.1 Systems Containing VIPEDIA-12-PRO and/or INTEGRA-PRO
The following sections describe the configuration specifically for systems that contain VIPEDIA-12-PRO
and/or INTEGRA-PRO units routing Dante audio.
3.1.1 QoS (Quality of Service)
QoS is required on all NETWORK-SWITCH-LP01 units in the system.
To configure QoS:
1. In the navigation tree, expand the “Advanced Settings” item.
2. Select “Bandwidth Control” then “QoS” and select the “IP DiffServ (DSCP)” tab.
3. Set “Mode” to “DSCP Over Tag”.
4. Set the following:
• “DSCP 8” to 5.
• “DSCP 46” to 6.
• “DSCP 56” to 7.
• All other DSCP to 0 (default setting).
5. At the bottom of the page, click “Apply”.
Dante audio dropouts, subscription errors, clock sync errors, or latency errors may occur if QoS is
not configured as described in this section.
