6.4.2 Turning on the work surface light
To turn the machine’s compartment light on and off, press
the (
) switch.

6.4.3 Raised cup grilles
When using cups with different heights, the special retract-
able grilles (10) that are supplied with the machine can be
used.
To use the pull-out grille, extract it from its storage position by
pulling it outwards until it is fully locked in position.
When the grille is no longer needed, push it back in towards
the machine until it disappears completely into its storage
position.

6.5 Dispensing coffee
6.5.1 Preparing the lter holder
Before lling the lter holder, make sure it is emp-
ty and any previous coffee residue has been re-
moved.
• Fillthelterwithadoseofgroundcoffee(approx.6-7g);
follow the procedures specied by the manufacturer of
the grinder-dispenser.
• Compress the coffee with the special press.
• Cleantherimofthegroundcoffeelterbeforeattaching
thelterholdertothedispensinggroup.
• Hookthelterholdertothegroupwithoutclosingittoo
tightly in order to prevent the gasket from wearing quickly.
6.5.2 Dispensing coffee
Do not remove the lter holder from the dis-
pensing group when coffee is being dispensed.
• Place the coffee cup under
the dispensing spout.
• Press the desired dose button
(e.g.
Prog
Stop
).
• Waitforthemachinetonish
dispensing (the selected dose
button will turn off).
• To stop the coffee dispensing at any time, press the
Prog
Stop
or
Prog
Stop
button.
