4.9 Emergency Exits
Familiarize yourself with the emergency exits and associated features located
throughout the cab enclosure prior to operation. These features allow an operator
to escape from the cab in an emergency.
Operator Escape (Door Exit): Firmly grasp the triangular tag attached to the win-
dow molding on the front door. Pull on the tag forcefully to remove the window
molding, then push or kick the window out to escape (fig. 4.9-2).
Operator Escape (Rear Window Exit): Firmly grasp the triangular tag attached to
the window molding on the rear window. Pull on the tag forcefully to remove the
window molding, then push or kick the window out to escape (fig. 4.9-1).
