START button (F)
Take a measurement.
Select a setting item.

POWER button (I)
Turn on in the measurement mode.
LCD
Displays the measurement values,
temperature/scale, and battery indicator.
Sample stage
Apply the sample to be measured.
Prism
Measures the Brix (%).
Fill line
Indicates a sufficient
amount of liquid.
Optical path window
Polarized light is
emitted and received.
Measurement Evaluation Indicator
Either the green or red light comes on
when the measurement value is within or
outside the tolerance range respectively.
Scale button
ZERO button ( G )
ZERO set.
Confirm the selection.
A.R. button (
J )
Select the angle of rotation scale.
Move to the next place value.
Brix button (K )
Select the Brix (%) scale.
Increase the value.
User button (H)
Select from : Purity; International Sugar Scale;
Specific Rotation; or Concentration
Decrease the value.
