Telephone operation
Redial
Save a redial entry to the directory
1. Press REDIAL/PAUSE on the handset or telephone base in idle mode.
2. Press
CID, DIR
or REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to browse until the desired
number displays.
3. Press MENU/SELECT twice.
4. The screen displays Enter number. Use the dialing keys to edit the number, if
necessary.
f Press CID or DIRtomovethecursortotheleorright.
f Press MUTE/DELETE on the handset or DELETE on the telephone base to
erase a digit.
f Press and hold MUTE/DELETE on the handset or DELETE on the
telephone base to erase all digits.
f Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a three-second dialing pause
(a P appears).
5. Press MENU/SELECT.
6. The screen displays Enter name. Use the dialing keys to enter a name
(up to 15 characters). Press a key repeatedly until the desired character
shows on the screen (see Character chart on page 79).
f Press CID or DIRtomovethecursortotheleorright.
f Press 0 to add a space.
f Press MUTE/DELETE on the handset or DELETE on the telephone base to
erase a character.
f Press and hold MUTE/DELETE on the handset or DELETE on the
telephone base to erase all characters.
7. Press MENU/SELECT.Youhearaconrmationtone.
Delete a redial entry
1. Press REDIAL/PAUSE in idle mode.
2. Press
CID, DIR
or REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to browse until the desired
number displays.
3. Press MUTE/DELETE on the handset or DELETE on the telephone base to
deletethedisplayednumber.Youhearaconrmationtone.
