• Starting from the ground control
station
Tilt and hold the preheat / start lever upwards
until the combustion engine starts.
Check that the engine fault light goes out once
the engine has started.
• Starting from the work platform
control station
Tilt the preheating/start lever upwards until the
combustion engine starts.
Check that the engine fault light goes out once
the engine has started.
- When cold starting, the preheating phase lasts
5-10 seconds before the engine starts (the
preheating light is on). Hold the lever up for 1-2
seconds after the engine has started.
- When the engine is warm, it starts immediately.
Release the lever as soon as the engine has
started.
• Stop / Emergency Stop
From the ground control station, the engine can
be stopped by turning the control station selector switch to O.
From the platform control station, the engine can be stopped by tilting the start / stop lever
upwards for 1 second.
Pressing the Emergency Stop switch will cut the supply to the controls and stop the combustion
engine.
4.2.2. STOP & START SYSTEM
The STOP & START device will automatically cut the combustion engine if the machine is not
used for a defined period: this device allows:
- Reduction in fuel consumption.
- Reduction in noise nuisance.
- Increase of the interval between the engine’s service intervals (reduction in the engine
operating time).
The combustion engine will only stop once it has reached a sufficient temperature.
This device can be enabled / disabled in the adjustment menu of the control system.
The delay prior to engine stop can also be adjusted.
Refer to Section 9 – Control Screen.
When the STOP & START device has stopped the engine, the indicator lights up on the
platform control station. To start again, activate the engine start lever.
