• Generator operation
1- Start the combustion engine and select the work platform control station.
2- Tilt the generator’s switch to ON.
➢ The indicator lights up signalling the onboard generator is operational.
➢ When the generator is operating, the combustion engine switches
automatically to high speed.
-NOTE-
If the generator switch was positioned on ON when the engine started or when the
control station was selected, the generator will not be operational. Tilt the switch
to the OFF position and again to ON to be activate it.
NOTE-
No movement of the machine can be controlled while the generator is operational
(generator switch positioned on ON).
• Stopping the generator
1- Tilt the generator switch to OFF.
➢ The indicator switches off.
➢ The combustion engine switches to low speed. The generator stops.
2- Once the generator is completely stopped, the movements of the machine can be
controlled again.
4.7 PARKING - STORAGE
• Park the machine on horizontal ground in a well-protected and ventilated area.
• Lower the platform. Position the structure above the rear axle. Bring the platform in line
with the chassis.
• Straighten up the wheels.
• Place the control station selector to O position and remove the key to prevent any
unauthorised use.
• Protect the control stations if necessary as well as the instruction or warning stickers
using covers.
• For extended storage:
- Disconnect the battery and charge if necessary. See Section 7-5 Battery.
- Chock the machine's wheels.
