4.2 COMBUSTION ENGINE OPERATION
4.2.1. STARTING / STOPPING
- NOTE-
Check the level of the engine oil and the level of the cooling fluid before starting the
combustion engine.
• Control station selector
The combustion engine may only be started from the control station selected.
-NOTE-
The emergency stop switch on the ground control station must be unlocked to be able to
start the engine from the ground controls.
The emergency stop switch on both control stations must be unlocked to be able to start
the engine from the upper control station.
If the engine was started from the ground control station and the Emergency Stop on the
platform was pushed in, the combustion engine will cut off when the control station
selection is changed.
- NOTE-
The engine can only be started if all the controls are in neutral and the enable pedal is
released.
