Dynamic steering
Dynamic steering : System malfunction
This dr iver message and the symbol appear w hen a system
ma lf unction occurs dur ing trave l. You can con t inue to drive caref ully
at a reduced speed to a qua lified workshop . Steering can be mo re
diffic ult o r sens itive t han usua l. The steering whee l can also be at an
angle whe n driving st raig ht .
Dynam ic steering: initialization
If this dr iver message appears and the indica t or light is flas hing on
the instrument pane l, dynam ic steering is being re initialized . Once
you sta rt t he engine after this is finished, the st eer ing whee l will be
easy to move . Re-initial ization might be necessa ry if the steer ing
wheel was moved hard to the left and right wh ile the vehicle was not
moving . The d isplay goes out as soon as init ia lizat ion is complete .
& WARNING
Have the dynamic steering system malfunction repaired as soon
as possible by an authorized Audi dealer or any qualified workshop
- risk of accident!
