Senso rs have blind spots in which objects cannot be det ect ed.
Pay special attenti on to s mall children and animals. They cannot
always be dete cted by th e se nsors - danger of an accident!
The parking assist cannot replace the driver's attention. The
driver alone is responsible for parking and sim ilar driving maneu-
vers . Always watch where you are driving .

Low obstacles a lready signalled by a warning can disappear from the
system 's detect ion range as t hey are approached and will not
cont inue to be s ignalled. Objects suc h as barrier chains, trailer draw
bars, th in pa int ed vertical poles, or fe nces may not be detected by the
system - risk of damage .

For the pa rking assist to operate, the sensors must be kept clean and
free of snow and ice .
Cruise control
Switching the system on
The cruise control system mak es it possible to drive at a
constant speed star ting at 20 mph (30 km/h).

on.
- Drive at t he sp eed you wish to set.
- Press but t on @ to set t hat speed .
The d isplay=> fig . 81 will show the set speed . The d isplay may vary
depending on the type of d isp lay in your vehicle . The indicator light
