If this driver notification appears after the ig-
nition is turned on or while driv ing and it goes
out again after a wh ile, the battery has been
adequately recharged.

If th is driver notification appears after the ig-
nition is turned on or while dr iving and does
not go out again, the battery's state of charge
is not in t he opt imal range. Starting abili ty is
restr icted. Have th e battery checked as soon
as possible by an author ized Audi dealer or
qualified wor kshop.
