Lumbar support
Applies to vehicles: with lumbar support
The lumbar support can be adjusted to fit the
natural curvature of the occupant's spine.

Adjusting the curvature

Never adju st the lumbar support while the
vehicle is moving. If you adju st your seat
while the vehicle is moving, you will be out
of pos ition. Always adjust the lumbar s up-
port when the ve hicle is not moving .

Head restraints
Adjusting head restraints, front seats
The head restraints must be adjusted proper-
ly to provide protection.

The head restraints on the front seats can be
adjusted to provide safe support to head and
neck at the optim um height . When optimally
adjusted , the top of th e rest raint should be
level wit h the top of the head c:> page 9 7,

Raising head restraint

both hands.
