You can centrally lock and unlock yo ur vehicle
and start the engine with the master key with
remote control.
@ Valet key
The valet key on ly fit s the lock in t he d river's
door and the ignition lock. If you have to leave
the key wit h somebody e lse, you are well-ad-
vised to turn over the valet key only.
Be aware that the rear lid and g love compa rt-
ment can be opene d from ins ide the ve hicle
usi ng the release butto ns .

The emergency key is only fo r t empora ry use if
the vehicle key should be lost or mispla ced

Key replacement
If you lose a key, contact your authori zed Audi
deale r immediat ely to have the
lost key d isa-
bled. Be sure to bri ng all yo ur keys with yo u.
Registered keys
You can check to find out how many keys have
been registered to your veh icle . Therefore,
wh en buying a used vehicle, make sure to get
all of the keys tha t be lo ng to it.

the engi ne and/or activate vehicle sys-
tems such as the power windows etc . Un-
supervised operation of any vehicle sys-
tem by children can result in serious in-
jury.

- If you open t he dr iver's door with the key
left in the ignit ion lock, a chime will
so und. This is your rem inder to remove
the key and lock the door .
- For security reasons, rep lacement keys
are only ava ilable from Aud i dealers.
Master key with remote control
The remote control allows you to lock or un-
lock the vehicle electronically.
