The digital compass only works with the igni-
tion tu rned on . The directions are disp layed as
init ia ls:
N (Nort h), NE (No rt heast), E (East),

W (West), NW (Northwest).

Setting the magnetic deflection zone

The correct magnetic deflection zone must be
set in order to display the directions correctly.

Adjust the magnetic deflect ion zone by re-
peated ly pressi ng on the @ button . The set
mode automatically deact ivates after a few
seconds.
Calibrating the compass

The compass has to be recalibrated if the dis-
play is wrong or inaccurate.
