Overview

The eShare W80 is a high-performance hybrid conference system with BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) capabilities, designed for seamless collaboration in conferencing environments. It functions as a presentation switcher with wireless presentation features, allowing users to project content from various devices to a display.

Function Description:

The eShare W80 integrates two built-in Wi-Fi modules and offers multiple access approaches for screen mirroring, including Airplay Mirroring (for Apple devices), Miracast (for Android phones and Windows PCs), and a dedicated Dongle. It also provides physical HDMI ports for direct connections. This allows users to project screens from computers (Mac/Windows) or mobile devices (iPhone/iPad/Android phones) to a connected display.

Key functionalities include:

  • Screen Mirroring: Supports wireless content sharing from mobile devices (Apple devices, Android phones, Windows PCs, and Dongle) to HDMI displays.
  • Dual View Display: When only one HDMI output port is connected to a display, the device supports displaying up to two video sources simultaneously on a single screen.
  • Automatic Signal Switching: The device automatically switches to the latest active video source based on a Last-In-First-Out rule. If two sources are in dual view, a new input replaces the source that has been displayed longer. If no active source is detected, it displays a customizable Guide Screen.
  • HDMI Output Management: When both HDMI OUT1 and HDMI OUT2 are connected to separate displays, the dual view function is disabled. Each output displays independently. If no active source, both display the Guide Screen. If one active source, both outputs display that source. If two active sources, the later input is assigned to HDMI OUT2, and the earlier to HDMI OUT1. If an additional source is input when two already exist, the latest input replaces the source that has been on screen longer.
  • HID and USB Device Signal Return: Supports wireless return of HID (Human Interface Device) and USB device signals to the Dongle.
  • OSD (On Screen Display): Provides basic device information, including video source details, access code, device name, and IP address, directly on the display screen.
  • Web UI: Offers a user-friendly web interface for easy configuration and advanced settings, accessible via a modern browser.
