To adjust the receive volume:
1. While the handset is off-hook, press the Volume control button.
To raise the volume, press the right half of the Volume control button. To lower the volume, press the left half of
the Volume control button.

The display shows the current volume level.
On the display, one arrow indicates the lowest setting, and eight arrows indicate the highest setting.
Note: There are eight possible volume settings.
To put a call on hold:
1. Press
Hold
.

The green light flutters.
{
The call is put on hold.
Note: If you put a conference call on hold, the other parties remain connected.
To return to the call on hold:
1. Press the call appearance button of the call on hold.
{
You are connected to the call on hold.
Note: If you are active on a call and press the call appearance button of the call on hold, the active call will be dropped.
To answer a new call while active on another:
1. Press
Hold
.

2. Press the call appearance button of the incoming call.
