Making calls with ease
Requesting messages
Requesting messages
If your communication server is connected to voicemail, callers can leave messages
for you in a similar way to an answering machine. You can call to request these
voice messages. It is also possible to receive conventional text messages from a
server. The voicemail system used determines whether voice and text messages
are signaled by the LED next to the M
ESSAGE function key. You can obtain more
details from your system administrator.
Diverting calls to voicemail
Press the softkey "Call div." or the key CALL DIVERSION (9630, 9640).
Scroll to the to: menu item.
Enter the internal phone number which is set up for voicemail
on your system, e.g. 4321.
Confirm selection. Call diversion is now activated. Call div. to 4321
appears in the display and the LED in the call diversion key lights up.
Listening to voice messages*
The LED in the MESSAGE key remains lit:
Press the M
ESSAGE key.
Scroll to the desired entry, e.g. Voicemail 1 069123456.
Confirm selection. Your telephone automatically switches to handsfree and
dials the voicemail number. You are then guided through voicemail operation.
