Change DTMF duration
You can change the DTMF duration (DTMF = dual tone multi frequency dialing
method). This can be of use when, for example, an answering machine does not
react to signals from your telephone).
Press the MENU key.
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm selection.
Scroll to the Keys menu item.
Confirm selection.
Scroll to the Key beep Off menu item.
Press the "Modify" softkey. The setting switches to Key beep On.
Confirm the entry by pressing the "Save" softkey. The new setting has been
saved.
• If you wish to deactivate the key beep, scroll to the Key beep On menu item
and change it as described above.
