Headset
You can use a headset if you want to use the telephone without using the handset.
Ask your system administrator which Avaya headsets you can use and how to
connect them to your phone.
Operating corded headsets
Calling someone
... Enter the desired number.
Press the H
EADSET function key (LED lights up).
When the called party answers you can talk with them through your headset.
Answering calls
If you receive a call.
Press the HEADSET key.
You are now speaking to the other party via the headset.
Continuing a call through the headset with the handset picked up
During a call:
Press the HEADSET function key (LED lights up).
Replace the handset.
You are now speaking to the other party via the headset.
Continuing a headset call using the handset.
During a call with the headset:
Lift the handset.
Press the H
EADSET key (LED off).
Ending a call
During a call with the headset:
Press the H
EADSET key (LED off).
