6.1 Adjustment of thickness plate

Due to possible shocks during the transport, the thickness plate may sometimes
go into contact with the knife; to recover this problem and adjust the thickness
plate go on as follows:
1. Lift the machine and loosen the screw or the gain (4) on the bracket (3).
2. Slowly rotate the thickness plate till to center it to the diameter of the knife,
with an even opening of 1 - :1,5 mm as shown in figure 6-1.
3. Fasten the thickness plate by firmly tightening the screw or the gain (4).
