Machine operation
Blade rotation
The white “I” (no. 6) and black “O” (no. 7) pushbuttons over the legend “BLADE”
control the blade rotation and stop.
The machine can only be switched on when the “POWER” lamp (no. 2) is lit and
the safety guards “BLADE COVER AND SHARPENER” are in place. If not, make
sure that:
a the machine is connected to the electric power supply.
b the safety guards “BLADE COVER AND SHARPENER” are in the working
position.
When the blade is rotating lamp no. 5 is lit.
Movement of the product holder
The white “I” (no. 9) and black “O” (no. 10) pushbuttons over the legend
“CARRIAGE” control the product holder start-stop. It can only be operated when
the blade is rotating and the carriage release handle is in the automatic position
with lamps nos. and 5 illuminated. If not, make sure that:
a the blade is rotating.
b the lamp no. 4 is lit by rotating the carriage release handle
counterclockwise.

Irrespective of the position of the carriage pressing the stop-pushbutton “0”
(no. 10) the carriage will complete its motion and stop at the end of the stroke
nearest the operator.
Carriage stroke length regulation
By rotating the knob no. 8 over the legend “STROKE ADJUSTMENT” the
operator can select the most suitable carriage stroke length in accordance with
the size of ‘the product to cut into slices.
Selection of the number of slices required
This operation must only be performed when the product holder is at a standstill.
To select the number of slices switch on the display (no. 15) pressing pushbutton
no. 1 under the legend “DISPLAY”. Keep the pushbutton no. 3 (“SET’) with one of
the buttons nos. 12, 13 or 14 (Units, Tens, Hundreds respectively) simultaneously
pressed, until the required number of slices is reached.
When the machine reaches the number of slices previously selected it stops
automatically.
If it is wished to re-display the number of slices last selected, press the
pushbutton SET” (no. 3).

signal.
