Prior to installation work, follow the items of caution as described below:
CAUTION
• Check and conrm that there is no external
damage to the valve (body, actuator,
accessories).
• Check and conrm that there is no damage
on pipe connecting anges or butt welding
connections.
• Ensure that the temperature of welded part
of pipe has been reduced before proceeding.
• Make sure that the anges on pipe have been
chamfered.
• Remove dust, sand, welding spatter or any
other foreign matter from the pipe and
clean out pipe. Any foreign matter will
damage the valve seat and reduces shut-o
characteristics.
• Ensure that upstream and downstream pipe
supports are suciently strong. Otherwise,
the valve's weight may cause leakage from
ange connections.
