Carburetor Removal / Installation:
Removal:
• Lift Seat. • Loosen the carburetor side cap 3 screws.
• Loosen the carburetor clamp screws. • Remove cap.
• Disconnect the throttle cable. • Disconnect the choke cable.
• Remove the carburetor.
Installation:
• Install in reverse order of removal procedures.
Air Cut-Off Valve:
Disassembly
• Remove air vent hoses.
• Remove fuel hose.
• Remove vacuum hose.
• Remove air cut-off valve cover 2 screws, spring, and valve.
Inspection
• Check the valve.
• If the valve is normal, it will restrict air-flow
• If air-flow is not restricted, replace carburetor assembly.
• Check the vacuum pipe o-ring.
Assembly
• Install in reverse order of removal procedures.
