ACTUATING THE INTEGRATED VALVE IN BEACON
Best Practice
Actuate the valve through BEACON AMA. Make sure the ORION Cellular LTE-M or LTE-MS endpoint is connected to the meter
and activated.
MPORTANTI
Make sure to complete first time setup in BEACON Monitor. See "BEACON First Time Setup" on page 9 for details.
OTE:N To schedule multiple valves for actuation, see "Batch Actuation" on page 16.
Scheduling Actuation
In BEACON, you can schedule valve actuation for
• the next endpoint communication time, or
• a specific date
MPORTANTI
Before scheduling valve actuation, check BEACON to see the signal strength of the endpoint connected to the E-Series Ultrasonic Plus
meter. You should have good signal strength to close/open the valve (Figure 13).
