What to do if I get a bad CRC error on my Badger Meter ModMAG M2000?

If you encounter a bad CRC error with your Badger Meter Measuring Instruments, make sure the serial link is properly shielded. Also, verify that the serial communication settings match for both the flow meter and the application software. Check that the flow meter is correctly programmed with the right node address and the wiring is appropriate. This is assumed to be accomplished by the ModBus[®] Master.
