Metering DECS-150
Metered Parameters
DECS-150 metering categories include generator/motor, power, bus, field, power system stabilizer (PSS),
and generator synchronization parameters.
Generator/Motor
BESTCOMSPlus Navigation Path: Metering Explorer, Generator/Motor
Metered machine parameters include the voltage (magnitude and angle), current (magnitude and angle),
and frequency. Primary- and per-unit values are available. Figure 11-2 illustrates the generator primary-
values metering screen.

Power

Metered power parameters include real power (kW), apparent power (kVA), reactive power (kvar), and
machine power factor. Primary- and per-unit values are available. The Power Primary-Values screen is
illustrated in Figure 11-3.

Energy
Energy parameters include accumulated watthours (positive and negative kWh), varhours (positive and
negative kvarh), and voltampere hours (kVAh). The Energy screen is illustrated in Figure 11-4. Click the
Edit button to open the Meter Energy Editor and manually enter values.
