18. Priming complete.
When priming is complete, the
display screen alternates
between CONNECT YOURSELF
and CHECK PATIENT LINE.
WARNING
Verify that the fluid level is at or near the connector at the end of the
disposable set patient line. Connecting when air is present can result
in sterile air being delivered, which can cause shoulder or abdominal
pain.
19. Get your transfer set ready.
Make sure your transfer set is
available but do not remove the
cap until after you have washed
your hands.
