Supports: Enabling supports option in BCN3D Cura, automatically generated support structures used to prop up
any sections of a print that will not stand alone.
Teflon tube: The plastic tube that guides the material from the material spool to the extruder and from the
extruder to the hotend.
Touchscreen: The touchscreen at the lower right corner of the printer. The touchscreen allows you to start prints,
change settings and view status information.
Print job: A print job is a file that has been submitted to be printed. This file is the result of preparing your model
through BCN3D Cura. The format of print jobs is .Gcode.
Print profile: The settings used to slice your 3D model and create a print file. BCN3D Cura software comes with
preset profiles carefully optimized and tested for BCN3D products.
Safety Pause: Door sensor that will stop the printing process every time the enclosure door is opened.
SD Card: You can use a SD Card to transfer print files to and from the BCN3D Printers.
.Gcode: The format of print files that contain instructions for your BCN3D Printer.
.STL: A widely used file format for 3D models.
.OBJ: A file format used for 3D models.
