Sheath container
components
The sheath container components are shown in the following
image:
Air line (green)
Sheath fluid line (blue)
to cytometer
Filter assembly
Cap handle
Vent valve
Clamp knob
Alarm sensor
Procedure To prepare the sheath container:
1. Verify that the flow cytometer is in standby mode.
Press the STANDBY button on the control panel if neces
sary.
2. Disconnect the green air line, sheath fluid line, and alarm
senso
r from the sheath container.
3. Depressurize the sheath container by pulling up on the vent
val
ve.
4. Remove the sheath container lid.
Unscrew the clamp knob and push down to loosen, if
necessary. Tilt the
cap to the side to remove it from the tank.
