Changing the sample tube O-ring
Introduction This topic describes how to replace the sample tube O-ring.
The sample tube O-ring, located within the retainer, forms a seal
t
hat allows the droplet containment vacuum to function properly.
When to replace
the O-ring
Replace the O-ring when droplets form at the end of the sample
injection tube while the vacuum is operating.
Caution
Procedure To change the O-ring:
1. Remove the outer sleeve from t
he sample injection tube by
turning the retainer counterclockwise.
2. Slide the outer sleeve from the retainer.
Caution: Biohazard! Cytometer hardware might be
contaminated with biohazardous material. Wear suitable
protective clothing, eyewear, and gloves whenever
cleaning the cytometer or replacing parts.
