Test name and result
followed by:
QC FAIL
The BD Veritor™ Plus
Analyzer has detected that
the QC test procedure has
not been completed
successfully, because:
A mismatch was detected
between the QC swab
and test device (for
example, a Strep A QC
swab was run with an
RSV test device).
The test outcome did not
match the expected
outcome (for example, a
Strep A positive result
was expected but a Strep
A negative result was
detected).
Ensure that the same test device type has been used
across all components (for example, a BD Veritor™
System Test Flu A+B test device must be used with the
QC swab appropriate for the test device).
Ensure that the test device inserted was developed from
the QC swab that was scanned with the barcode scanner.
On first occurrence, repeat the QC procedure. On
subsequent occurrences, contact BD*.
