6 System requirements
6.1 DCX.Server software
Computer requirements:
• CPU min. x5-Z8350, 1.9GHz or faster (or adequate AMD type), 2GB RAM
• Wired LAN connection, e.g. power net adapter
• Operating system
o MS-Windows 7,8,10 (32 & 64 bit)
• Hardware RS232 port or USB port for USB-RS232 interface (FTDI chipset recommended)
• Internet connection to activate your software license
6.2 DCX.Client software (Remote control user interface)
6.2.1 MS-Windows app (from our download page)
• Operating system MS-Windows 7,8,10 (32 & 64 bit)
• CPU min. Intel Atom x5-Z8350 1.9GHz or faster (or adequate AMD type), 2GB RAM
6.2.2 macOS app (from our download page)
• Operating system OS X El Capitan or higher
6.2.3 Android app (Play Store)
• Operating system Android 5 or higher, 32bit & 64bit
6.2.4 iOS app (Apple Store)
• Operating system iOS 9 or higher
• iPhone 6 or higher
6.3 DCX.Server Linux/Atomic Pi
• Atomic PI single board computer (x86 architecture) or similar
• Linux operating system with WINE and the DCX.Server software
o Linux 32 & 64 bit (e.g. Mint) with WINE
o USB-RS232 driver. Driver for FTDI chips already in Mint included
• USB-RS232 interface
o Port configured as COM1. FTDI chipset recommended
6.3.1 USB-RS232 interface requirements
• Min. supported baud rate: 38.400 baud
• Support of the RTS control signal
• USB 2.0 bus or higher
• Interface recommended with FTDI chipset
