N-E2.3 Direction of rotation, damper opening
Depending on the design of the air box the manufacturer sets the direc-
tion of rotation of the damper accordingly. The direction of rotation de-
pends on the open position of the damper.
Setting:
cw clockwise (looking on the damper spindle)
ccw c
ounterclockwise (looking on the damper spindle)
Direction of rotation
An incorrect direction of rotation setting will cause the
air box to malfunction.

Practical tip Damper open
Shortage of air due, for example, to excessively low
supply pressure / fan fault: The VAV unit damper is
100% open and stays so while Setpoint > Actual value
