Thread: 2 cones of lightweight serger thread

TWO THREAD ROLLED HEM

• Attach the 2-thread adapter to the upper looper. Note: This is an optional accessory for the 700D.
• Following the instructions in the Owner’s manual thread the serger for a 2-thread flatlock stitch. Set
tension levers as directed.
• Pull the rolled hem lever towards you.
• Adjust the stitch length to 1.75mm.
• Set cutting width at 2mm (normal).
• Place the fabric under the presser foot and serge along one 6” edge, trimming about
1
/8” from the
raw edge.
• Return stitch length and thread tension levers to normal.
• Trim and mount the sample.
