INSTALLATION HEAT RECOVERY UNIT

Calibrate the supply fan:
1. Connect the pressure difference meter to the pressure
measurement points 1 of the supply fan .
2. Calibrate the supply fan. Use the same method for this
as
described for the extract fan.
2.13.6 Setting the pressure switch
The unit is fitted with freezing protection for the plate heat
exchangers. If ice formation is identified, the unit will defrost
the exchangers by blowing warm indoor air over the exchang-
ers. The airflow from outside in will be turned off.
This function will be active if the pressure difference across
the plate heat exchanger becomes too great.
Note:
n The pressure difference must be measured in fan
speed 3 (high).
At outside temperatures that form the risk of freez-
ing, the unit will carry out a check by measuring the
pressure difference at fan speed 3.
Adjust pressure switch
Adjust the pressure switch 7 to fan speed 3 (high):
1. Use the flow rate that is used for fan speed 3 of the
extract fan (see 2.13.5 Calibrate air volume).
2. Determine the corresponding pressure difference for
the
pr
essure switch. To do so, use the graphic.
Note:
n Use the curve for the unit type that is being used.
(See type plate.)
