ROLL STOCK MEDIA
If the entrance of the media into the printer will fall below the red highlighted area shown above, then the
highlighted yellow area should have a continuous physical barrier separating the media from coming in
contact with the cabling, printer body, kiosk chassis seams, etc.
Label or Wristband Media
When feeding media into the printer the leading edge must be lying flat and not curled upwards. An upward
curled media may not feed properly into the printer and may lead to possible ticket jams on a printer with auto
cutter.
May cause feed issues – is
curled upwards.
GOOD – lying flat
ACCEPTABLE – has a slight
curl downward.
