18) Storage Compartment
Quest MAX and Traxter MAX Series
Located in front of vehicle. Convenient
location to carry personal articles such
as an a helmet, spare spark plugs, first
aid kit, etc. Unlatch cover, gently lift
then remove cover.
The compartment is equipped with a
drain plug under the tool box. Remove
plug to allow draining when necessary.
Reinstall plug when finished.

It also contains this Operator’s Guide
and an ATV Winch Operator’s Manual
(XT models) which should be kept in
a waterproof bag and remain with the
vehicle at all times.

WARNING
When engine is running, always
engage the PARK position on the
transmission lever before open-
ing cover. Never leave any heavy
or loose breakable objects in the
storage basket. Always latch cov-
er before riding. If storage cover is
removed to provide greater carry-
ing area, ensure that cargo is se-
cured and will not “fly out” when
riding at speed on rough terrain.
