5 Information on the standard functions and the
advanced functions
5.1 heat source
5.1.1 Operating mode
Operation of the heat source is defined or adjusted via the connected
consumer. The operating mode is shown in the Operating mode display.
To change the operating mode:
Tap symbol and select operating mode.
Auto
In this operating mode, operation of the heat source is defined via the
connected consumer.
Manual operation via the key
Functions can be modified in “Manual operation” by sliding or tapping.
The parameters and time programs stored are not taken into account.
The manual operation only applies for the functions in which this mode
has been selected. Other functions continue running in the set operating
mode.
In manual operation, the pumps are switched off and the mixing valves
remain de-energised and remain in the position they were in when the
pumps were switched off. The pump and mixer must be set via the
manual function.
Example:
Select heat source.
Tap symbol and select manual operation.
Tap symbol.
Tap On.
Tap Save.
If the burner output is set via Operating mode during manual operation,
the heat source attempts to operate continuously at the set burner
output (modulation value). If the heat source reaches its set boiler
temperature, the burner output is reduced to the minimum burner
output.
5.1.2 Advanced functions for the heat source
If you tap the symbol, the field containing the advanced functions for
the heat source opens. Manual changes can be made here.
To be able to set the parameters for the heat source in manual operation:
Tap the heat source.
Tap symbol and select
Tap symbol.
Change parameter.

5.1.3 Manual operation via the key
There is a significant difference between manual operation via the
key and manual operation via Operating mode.
Press the key to ensure an emergency operation is available, if e.g.
the user interface has failed or the internal control unit communication
has been disrupted. The heat source heats continuously without setback
at a boiler temperature of 60 °C. The boiler circulation pump or pump of
heating circuit 00, the DHW pump and the circulation are switched on.
The mixing valve must be adjusted manually. The LED status display
lights up red.
To start manual operation:
▶Press key.
To end manual operation:
▶Press key.
5.2 Heating circuit, room temperature
The room temperature default setting in heating mode is 21 °C. The room
temperature default setting in setback mode is 17 °C.
The room temperature is defined by or set via the operating mode. The
operating mode is shown in the display.
To change the room temperature:
Tap symbol and select operating mode.
5.2.1 Auto
In this operating mode, the room temperature is determined by the
values specified in the time program.
The symbol shows the temperature set for the current operating
mode.
