Troubleshooting
You can rectify minor faults on your appliance yourself. Read the troubleshoot-
ing information before contacting after-sales service. This will avoid unneces-
sary costs.

Risk of electric shock!
Incorrect repairs are dangerous.
▶ Repairs to the appliance should only be carried out by trained specialist
staff.
▶ Only use genuine spare parts when repairing the appliance.
▶ If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, the manufacturer's Customer Service or a similarly qualified
person in order to prevent any risk.
Fault Cause and troubleshooting
The display goes out
and flashes.
Energy-saving mode is active

The pump for the intelligent dosing system is blocked.
1. Put the appliance into standby mode.
2. Clean the pump unit.

3. Switch the appliance on.
4. If the display appears again after cleaning the
pump unit, or the programme cannot be started,
call customer service.

Note:You can deactivate and manually dose the intel-
ligent dosing system until the fault is rectified.

Pump cover is not correctly assembled.
▶ Correctly assemble the pump cover.
The pump cap is not fully screwed in.
▶ Ensure that the pump cap is screwed in all the way
into the appliance. The handle on the pump cap
must be in a vertical position.
Drain pipe or water outlet hose is blocked.
▶ Clean the drain pipe and the water outlet hose.
Drain pipe or water drain hose is caught or jammed.
