Replace the battery
Open cover on storage battery (
on the left or the
right side) that would need to be replaced.
1. Push the cover lock into "unlocked" position (
)
().
2. Push the cover upward ().
3. Open the cover.

4. Pull on the ribbon to remove the storage battery
from the compartment.
5. Push the new storage battery completely into the
compartment with the labeling upward.
6. Push the storage battery lock all the way to the left
into 'locked' position (
); make sure not to pull on
the ribbon.

7. Close the cover and push it downward until it locks
in place.
8. Then push the lock into 'locked' position (
).
! The lock can only engage if the cover is snapped
in. The lock must be securely engaged so that the
bottom, red part cannot be seen.
4.2.3 Replacing cover
i Each of the covers is secured with two or four
screws to the underside of the DCU 220.
1. When necessary, push cover lock into 'unlocked'
position (
).
2. Slide cover upward.
3. Open covers.
4. Remove screws from cover.
5. Remove cover.
4.2.4 Replacing edge protector
1. Remove five screws on the edge protector.
2. Remove edge protector.
4.2.5 Replacing carrying handle

1. Remove the screws on every side.
2. Remover carrying handle.
4.2.6 Replace the locking piece
1. Push latch upward and hold in position.
2. Remove the two screws below it.
3. Remove the locking piece.

4.2.7 Replacing the hard disk (SSD)
1. Switch off the DCU 220.
2. Disconnect the DCU 220 from the power supply.
3. Push cover lock into 'unlocked' position (
) ().
4. Slide cover upward ().
Abb. 12: Open the cover.
5. First pull the ribbon to the right and then forward to
remove the hard disk from the compartment.
6. Push new hard disk upward with silver side up com-
pletely into the compartment until it locks.
7. Close the cover and push it downward until it locks
in place.
8. Then push the lock into 'locked' position (
).
! The lock can only engage if the cover is snapped
in. The lock must be securely engaged so that the
bottom, red part cannot be seen.
