1. If necessary, loosen the fastening screw for rotating
the vertical laser and rotate holder in such way that
both vertical laser lines are congruent.

2. Tighten the fastening screw of the vertical laser and
secure with locking varnish.
3. Check if the air bubble in the spirit level is still bet-
ween the lines.
 If necessary, adjust the spirit level by rotating the
screws (Fig. 15/ 2) in such way that the air bubb-
le is located exactly between the markings.

4. Turn off cross laser
4.5 Calibrating the pendulum
1. Affix pendulum on a wall or another vertical surface
in such way that the line of the green vertical laser
runs through the center point of the pendulum sus-
pension.
i Instead of the vertical laser on the HTD 8xx, a self-
levelling cross laser can also be used.
