5�1 Performance description
The axial piston variable pump generates, controls and regulates ahydraulic uid
ow. The A15VSO/A15VLO is designed for stationary applications such as tooling
machines.
Refer to data sheet 92802 and the order conrmation for the technical data,
operating conditions and application limits of the axial piston unit.
5�2 Product description
The A15VSO/A15VLO is avariable pump with axial piston rotary group of
swashplate design for hydrostatic drives in an open circuit hydraulic system.
Flowis proportional to drive speed and displacement.
The ow can be continuously adjusted by controlling the swashplate (cradle) (12).
For axial piston units with swashplate design, the pistons(10) are arranged axially
relative to the drive shaft.
In an open circuit, the hydraulic uid ows from the reservoir to the
hydraulicpump from where it is fed to the consumer, e.g. hydraulic motor.
Fromthe consumer, the hydraulic uid ows directly back to the reservoir.
